Topic: Establishment of research infrastructure for battery fire safety and fire suppression characteristics

• Introduction to the research infrastructure for verifying the fire safety of large-capacity secondary batteries and EV batteries and ESS.
• Introduction to the project for building a fire suppression characteristics demonstration platform required for ensuring fire safety of batteries, including energy storage systems (ESS).
• Introduction to the research infrastructure and demonstration studies established in the Samcheok Special Fire Safety Zone, the only dedicated fire safety research complex in Korea.

We are going to hold the workshop for information exchange about diversity inclusion and equality.

The previous IAFSS session, there are 4 presentations about developing countries fire education, how do we can inform the people about fire danger, mental illness and wheel chair evacuation. Here, we need to think about not only gender equality but also many equality and inclusions on the diversity.

• 10 min: IAFSS activity introduction, DEI activities in Japan and China
• 30 min: information exchange about DEI in each Asia country
• 30 min: discussion about future activity
